The second event of the LookUP project according to the Stage 2.2 Business Plan Development Workshop of the ‘Go Green, Get Digital and Be Resilient’ Programme, took place on 8-9 April 2024, in Zafra, Extremadura – Spain.

Over two days, 21 small businesses from Spain, 10 from Finland, and 12 from Romania worked together. They shared ideas on how to improve tourism using new and smart strategies. This collaboration between different countries could bring significant changes to the tourism industry, highlighting the importance of teamwork and sharing knowledge.

The first day in Extremadura commenced with activities focused on understanding customer needs and enhancing customer relationships, followed by discussions on identifying key partners, activities, and resources crucial for business success.

The second day saw a continuation of intense engagement, with activities centered around refining business models, analyzing revenues, costs, eco-social impacts, and benefits, and crafting compelling value propositions. Additionally, discussions on effective channels and growth hacking strategies were integral to the day’s agenda.

During these intense two days, everyone worked hard to solve problems and find opportunities to make their businesses better. This event was a great chance for collaboration, innovation, and learning from each other, paving the way for future improvements in the tourism industry.

A big thank you to the Junta de Extremadura for hosting this event and to all the project partners for their support.

This second event of the LookUP project was a valuable experience, marking an important step in developing business plans. Let’s continue working together to bring positive changes and innovation to the tourism sector. Forward!
