Showcase event – Sibiu, Romania

The third and final event of the LookUP project, part of the Stage 2.3 Business Showcase of the ‘Go Green, Get Digital and Be Resilient’ Programme, took place on 12-13 November 2024, in Sibiu, Romania. 

Over the course of two days, 22 small businesses from Spain, Finland, and Romania came together to collaborate, share ideas, and showcase the innovative projects they had been working on throughout the year. 

During this final event, participants had the opportunity to present their innovation projects, born out of a shared vision and developed through cross-border collaboration. This initiative united SMEs deeply connected to rural life, the skies, and nature, highlighting the value of working with diverse yet like-minded businesses. 

The two-day event was an intense and productive experience, centered on problem-solving, identifying opportunities, and fostering resilience in rural tourism. It provided a fantastic platform for learning, innovation, and setting the stage for future collaborations within the industry. This event marked the culmination of efforts that began in Kuusamo, Finland, took shape in Zafra, Spain, and reached their final presentation in Sibiu, Romania.
